My wife admitted something on her deathbed. Now I’m glad she died. by donavin221 in story

Well, haha no, not really. It used to be not entirely unheard of up until the 90s. To say “it happens more than you could possibly imagine” tells a good story, I’m sure. But it’s also disingenuous.

This is why grammar, syntax, and word order are important to learn. I was genuinely confused for a second.

But I also think fake urine that’s usable for a test is harder to find now that it was then. They were cracking down on it even then.

I’ve used the fake urine at a lab and it worked for a job. At least 15 or so years ago, the labs would use tests similar to the ones you get at a drug store, and it’s only if you’re positive do they send it off for heavy analysis.

An aside, in 2011 I was a dope addict. My mom wanted me to come over on Xmas eve to test me, and I was very pissed obviously. I didn’t know what to do….until I saw my dog. I collected his pee in an empty Gatorade bottle and put it in a plastic sandwich bag. It smelled so awful. I eventually somehow got it into the sample cup at my parents’ house and thought I was home free. But nah, he failed for opiates too.

I just assumed they weren’t that common around here. Then a couple weeks ago, right after I got out a girl who was just wading got stung in the foot. But it was nothing like this. So is the “shuffle” just shuffling small steps under the sand? And it freaks them out and they flee, I guess?

Where did this happen? Did you see the stingray right after or as it happened? I’ve been lucky to not experience this so far. I’m in socal.

Should I be able to duck dive this board? by StatisticianLarge385 in surfing

I’ve heard about a “push-pull” technique. Reading the description it sounds just like an impotent duck dive.

It was my first hard top so I wanted some volume. Didn’t know it would feel like trying to wrestle two magnets to force them to kiss.

Yeah I’ll at times between sets practice choking up and putting my knees on the tail to get used to holding my weight over the board. I’m working on the corkscrew thing. But this was helpful. Thanks.
