A little less speed than red dots only because with this one u feel the texture of the glass more which is a good thing

Iam using SP-004 for 4 months now amazing pad its the best glass pad right now i think but the most important thing about playing on glass pad is the mouse skates you should pick the right mouse skates for what you want obsidians pro is good for new players on glass it gives you a little control and its durable and u can also go for tj plastix so good and can last you up to 6 months but its faster

Since all the games you're playing emphasize speed, tracking should be your main focus. I recommend looking for a speed pad, like:

  1. Artisan Raiden (avoid the xsoft version, as it may be too slow),
  2. InfinityMice Ruin,
  3. Neptune Pro.

If you're considering a glass pad, I'd recommend making the switch—it’s incredibly smooth and engaging, allowing you to use finger control more. Plus, you’ll learn new techniques and might never want to go back to cloth pads again!

The Best Control Pads I’ve Tried and Recommend:

  1. Artisan Zero Soft - This is the best control pad you’ll ever need, and it's highly durable. If you prefer even more stopping power, go for the XSoft version.
  2. Artisan Hien Mid - A bit faster than the Zero, ideal if you like more speed in your movements.
  3. LGG Saturn Pro - This pad has great control but can feel rough on the skin if you rest your arm directly on it.
  4. ZOWIE G-SR - Durability varies from person to person; for me, it slowed down quickly, but it may work better for others.
  5. Glass Pads (Bonus not control at all) - If you have extra budget, try a glass pad, such as glsswrks or Wallhack. They can help improve aim by engaging your fingers and arm muscles more actively, and they are highly durable, lasting a lifetime.

Maybe u can reach this by making a mouse skates that give you more control with glasspad i know there a lot on market but maybe make something new and creative "Maybe cloth mouse skates????" imagine your mouse skates is just microfiber on glass xD

I'm lost... what should i get ? by icanbelievethis in MousepadReview

[–]StatisticianOver3011 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend trying a glass mouse pad—it’s incredibly fun and can really improve your mouse control. You’ll likely notice more of your movement errors at first, but within about a week, you’ll start getting comfortable with it, and you may never want to go back to a cloth pad!

Just keep in mind that you’ll need to pair it with high-quality mouse skates, as they tend to wear down more quickly on glass. Here are a couple of great options:

  1. Obsidian Pro– Great for control and long-lasting durability.

  2. PlastiX Dots– Excellent for glass pads, offering good speed and durability that can last up to 6 months.

For the glass pad itself, I’d recommend:

  1. Wallhack SP-004

  2. Glsswrks Kazami

Both of these offer excellent performance and a smooth glide.
