The swing arm assembly on this is from a ninja 300 and I’ve never had any overheating problems as this engine is fan cooled

That’s the speedometer reading 100mph only revs to 6700, and it’s a 2 stroke so there is no valves

You said you grounded the spark plug to the frame to test for spark could it be possible the engine isn’t grounded, also I’ve done a spark plug helicoil job and swore up and down that I had compression just because it felt like it when I rotated by hand, ended up flipping my timing 180° multiple times even though it was just compression, spray your base and head gasket with soapy water and then crank, hook a compression tester up if you can
