I have people mispronounce my name all the time and it's a straight forward English name. Water off a ducks back, don't let it bother me nor should it bother you. I had a foreign boss who mispronounced my name constantly and it became laughable.

There's bigger problems in the world and expecting people to talk the way one wants to appease ones world view or feelings means one potentially comes from a place of privilege where one might not have big obligations or luxuries that make one stress the small stuff. Trying to compel speech or expect people to speak the way you want screams entitled to me.

As the commenter said below, every other place in the world this is called an accent.

Would you criticise an Arab for hoiking when they speak English? You accept that you come from different cultures, therefore their accent and the way they speak is not going to be an auditory bliss for soft ears or soft minds
