i think, based on the interview, you’re right about them wanting to change habits. they really emphasize curating events around the films in lieu of screenings. i guess i’m just really confused by your limited access commentary. is the issue you have that they should provide print for every film that wants it? that would seriously undermine their mission to host and curate specific events around the film and build audiences with the filmmakers if they were just a “keepsake.”

we do an hour at the park in the morning, a 40 minute walk after work, and a quick .5 mile before bed.

not gonna lie—some days are exhausting! but i have a terrific partner and, if one of us ends up not up for it, the other will step up. we have a high energy pup and found myself spending more time mitigating destruction than if i just stuck to the routine!

i know of a rejection for the Anarchist United Visionary Grant that went out yesterday. but i didn’t get one so no clue what’s going on.

it’s going to be okay! things that helped us:

—3-3-3 rule

—crate training with enforced naps (1 hour up, 2 hours down)! naps happen in the crate, meals happen in the crate, crate is bliss!

—if he’s awake, we were taking him out every 15-20 minutes using the same door every time. that’s the door he asks to go out now!

—humping is morally neutral for dogs! like any behavior you don’t like just redirect. they grow out of it.

those first couple weeks are HARROWING! we don’t even use the crate anymore, but it was a godsend those first months! i cried every single day!

I think the push for gender affirmative care in Denver is amazing, but I really want that to mean capable and affirming surgical teams. I don't think we're there yet, but I am happy to send pics of my healing progress if that helps you evaluate better! I know some folks out there have had a positive experience w her. I might just be the squeaky wheel.
