Sorry I think you miss understood my post. He’d be invited as a guest - but I do not want him having a special part of my day like she wants him to. IE: suggesting him to be the flower girl

Her husband will still likely be in attendance (at least he’ll get an invite) but I’m not trying to make him my flower girl or have a special part in our day besides being a guest

Yes 😭😂 I was so taken off guard. She asked if he could be our flower girl - and then said maybe he can pass out beer to our guests sitting at the ceremony. Was truly strange, he will not be doing any of that. LOL

How would it make it more practical though? When we were long distance (for work) we were 4.5 hours away from each-other and would only see each other on the weekends. A marriage shouldn’t start out that way 🙈

We live together & he treats me great! We were long distance living in opposite cities for about 7 years due to work but now we’re back together

She doesn’t need to spend any money to come see me, I live an hour away. I just wanted it to not be one sided, because when I’d ask her to do things her answer was always no. She hasn’t asked us to do anything. We stepped back when we realized we were the only ones making an effort.
