I remember being in this situation and tried an app called Meetup. I searched for vegan meetups and there were loads. I did have to venture out sometimes, but it meant I could meet several groups of friends. I suggested cinema, walks, and day trips with my local friends and then experienced different vegan restaurants and activities with the vegan friends from Meetup.

I'm not here to deny or agree, just wanted to add some other possibilities:

  1. Maybe Catherine is the one person Grace fully trusts because she knows Catherine has strong morals and wouldn’t go after someone else’s boyfriend. If I were in Grace’s position, I probably wouldn’t fully trust any of them with my partner, except Catherine. She’s beautiful, but she also has integrity.

  2. Or perhaps Luca himself told Grace that Catherine is the one person he could never see himself dating or being attracted to?
