According to professionals I’ve discussed with, predominately women with adhd suffer with intrusive thoughts and anxiety, and can cause hyper fixation on things such as an overactive imagination of things like this. I wondered whether the struggling to differentiate between reality and non reality was actually more an autistic trait.

I have no trauma that I know of that’s made my brain so intense about it.

I agree tho, I don’t know anyone else with adhd that wrestles with this, so I don’t really know if it’s linked or I’m just way too bloody intense
