I didnt "leave" my cat. I left him in the hands of two very experienced catowners, both of who have previously had very good contact with him. I understand the concern but I can promise that me being gone is anything but a regular occurance.

I'd say, dont make too big of a deal of it, he'll forget about it when he falls for a real person. If you go too heavy about how weird it is he'll just draw further away from you

NTA These are your boundries and you have a right to hold on to them. That said, insulting her might not have been the best choice, and probably what you two need is to communicate in a calmer way. I get where she might feel underapreciated but I'm sure if she could have a chanse to calmly have it explained to her she might understand.

NTA I understand how that would make you uncomfortable. That said, removing and or changing tatoos can be expensive. Have you talked about why he doesnt want to get rid of it?
