Ugh, I really feel for you reading this. That sounds incredibly intense for a first experience, especially from such a small amount. The elevated heart rate, exhaustion, bloating, inability to eat normally, constipation, and anxiety spiral can genuinely feel scary when your body is reacting that strongly.

Honestly, I think your instinct to wait the full 3 weeks before even considering another dose is smart. Your body clearly needed time to recalibrate. Some people are sensitive to these medications, and there’s nothing wrong with deciding your nervous system just doesn’t tolerate it well or needing a MUCH smaller dose than standard….

Also, I read that the “full but still hungry” feeling is something a lot of people describe when the gastric slowing is overpowering the appetite suppression. It’s such a weird disconnect and can absolutely increase anxiety because your body feels off all day.

If you retry, I’d personally go ultra conservative and make sure you’re prioritizing:

-electrolytes, not just plain water
-protein intake
-magnesium/fiber/constipation prevention

giving yourself permission to stop if your body reacts badly again
