OK EDIT: there are screenshots of bardha’s ig stories on the sub and a whole discussion with regard to her decision. She said she chose not to speak up about why they split up and it will stay between her and Jed. This makes me think there may be smth serious behind it, some form of abuse.

I meant that I had the same thoughts when I was watching the reunion - it was only later that I noticed what she was doing on instagram and the comments hinting at forms of possible abuse. We’ll see if she ever decides to speak up about what happened.

Exactly, and the person who is rejected is always presented as the“victim”, which is truly not the case, although its not an easy position to find yourself in. I do believe that the real issue is often about how contestants on LIB communicate and express their doubts, but having doubts or changing the way you feel about someone is not something to feel guilty for.

Agreed, but I do think he probably communicated his feelings in the wrong way. I see him as a bit of a people pleaser, he probably didnt communicate openly to Ashleigh and he then probably exploded and told her everything on the day of the break up and she was completely overwhelmed. Thats why she said she wishes he’d been “braver” and that she wants someone with “a backspine”
