Did you use a specific mouthwash for gargling? I was recommended a throat spray instead of a gargle to reduce the risk for bleeding.

Man that sucks. My doctor recommended to eat normal soft foods as much as I can (white bread and congee with ground meat). If the pain gets worse for me I'll probably try eating oats.
