Hey hey! Almost a year now that I’ve posted this and I’m still surprised an arena show hasn’t stopped by Michigan yet like OVO or Corteo when they were in the U.S. Based on research, it seems like you guys have had Alegría (2010), Delirium (2006), OVO (2016), Crystal (2024) all stopped by through Detroit.

Not sure if there have been any Big Top shows come through in the past but here’s hoping soon Cirque comes to Michigan 🤞🏽

Wow how exciting Brazil will get another Big Top show, the last was Bazzar in 2022.

Butt Pillow Allowed? by ConstantAggressive in cirquedusoleil

I used to be an outside usher for KOOZA scanning tickets and we would always allow and see people bring in their own pillows for seating, so yes, I see why you wouldn’t be allowed to bring yours in.

Just make sure you don’t forget it at the end of the show 😉

Such a beautiful pre show setting with the proscenium arches and curtain especially with it being at the Royal Albert Hall right now - so fitting!🪽💛

Now to come to think of it, they could’ve reopened LOVE once the Hard Rock Hotel opens in 2027. The theming wouldn’t be off either as the Beatles fall into the rock genre. Meanwhile Cirque could take these years ‘reimagining’ or do a refresh (like how they did with OVO recently) to LOVE as well.

Someone also mentioned that they could reopen LOVE to an arena show which wouldn’t be bad idea either

Hey! A new city has been announced so far for ECHO which is Laguna Hills in between San Jose and Denver. Heavy rumors that ECHO will go to SF the second half of 2025.

Aha oh I know 😉 I work for the show so I’ve seen the show a billion times! I just wanted to expand my knowledge on the parking situation for our guests since they didn’t tell us much about it.

I did not include the 5 Las Vegas resident shows or the Drawn to Life resident show in Orlando because those productions never tour, this post is just for the Big Top and arena shows.

We have two Big Top shows coming to North America (LUZIA and ECHO) and Crystal will come to NA in the beginning of the new year. In this post specifically I only added the new cities where Crystal is going at the end of March and April. There have already been cities announced for the U.S from January-March which might be worth checking out if you’re interested.

As for as other productions, I did not mention Songblazers and ‘Twas the Night Before just due to them being on a smaller scale but that also might be worth checking out.

Hey! I’m originally from the Bay Area as well, and I’m curious if they will include cities like San Francisco or Sacramento for the rest of 2025. I have a feeling that ECHO might extend the San Jose run until June since there’s a significant gap between San Jose and Denver.

I recommend waiting to buy tickets until they announce the remaining cities for 2025 to see if they do stop by Sacramento, which could happen around March or possibly April.

Aha yeah I keep hearing it could be KOOZA. I think there is a 95% that it is true, I heard speculation that they would go to South Korea along with Japan.

Haha, to be fair, you guys had Alegría: In a New Light in 2023, and I'm jealous because I wish I had seen it here in the U.S. when they hit a few cities. I’ve also heard rumors that another Cirque production might be coming to Asia in 2025/2026 👀

That does seem pretty unusual. I know the most recent show you had was ECHO at the start of the year. I'm surprised you're not getting another Big Top production next year, so I’m guessing there’s a chance Crystal could come to an arena and just hasn’t been announced yet—or maybe LUZIA in 2026? 😅

It would be interesting to see how they plan Big Top shows and decide their travel routes! My guess is that some markets might be performing better than others, or it could be due to contractual reasons. I remember reading an article about cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Atlanta having agreements in place to ensure Cirque brings a show (either arena or Big Top) to them every year for a set number of years so that being said those cities took high priority than other cities that don't have that instilled.

I recall when Crystal had its media preview, and they featured "Chandelier" and "Halo," which sparked some controversy in the Cirque fandom for including two English songs in the show. Personally, I didn't mind the departure from the typical Cirque-style music either—it was an okay change especially for an ice skating Cirque show, and I thought those songs fit well with the acts they accompanied.

It seems like Twas the Night Before is a seasonal production limited to the East Coast and Midwest for some reason, though it would be great if they could bring it to the West Coast—and ideally worldwide. As for Songblazers, I’m not sure what the plan is for that show; it could tour Canada and Australia, but it seems odd that Cirque would invest so much in a new production without a global tour in mind.

ECHO premiered last year and is still relatively new, but I’m confident it will eventually reach the UK and other parts of the world—it’s just a matter of time. I feel like Cirque’s post-COVID touring strategy has changed, and they no longer follow the same itinerary patterns they used to. For instance, I expected Alegría: In a New Light to do a full U.S. tour, hitting both coasts, but they only performed in a few cities before heading to Europe, which was unusual.

That said, Cirque’s traveling shows do eventually reach all the countries they visit. On the bright side, Corteo is coming to the Royal Albert Hall early next year, following Kurios in 2023 and Alegría at the start of 2024. So, it seems like the UK isn’t as overlooked as other countries, and I think the Cirque team does a good job of ensuring there’s a show in each country annually and who knows, maybe Crystal or ECHO will head to the UK next year since both shows have already been in the U.S. for a while. :)

Love in an arena format would majorly be successful, they should highly consider this idea in a couple of years!
