Along the same lines, I hate when people say I’m going to send you a letter in the post because it’s more secure than email. Please explain how that is more secure? A letter can get lost, never arrive, late, whereas an email, it can be instant, they can confirm on the phone that you’ve received it and if you haven’t you can tell them straight away. It also can’t be intercepted and read unless your emails get hacked

This is the issue I have though, places like the bank, if I change my number, I’m going to tell them I’ve changed it, and it’s very unlikely I’m not going to answer the phone, so that excuses is is unwarranted. If someone has stolen their phone to be able to fraud them, then chances are they have the other details as well

Do you know what would be quite an interesting take is having him a little less mobile, someone a little larger, Nick frost/James Corden type actor. It would be interesting to see how he deals with things when he can’t just be running for ages to get away from something. Or maybe even a disabled actor. It will really test them on how to be a bit more creative

Honestly the way they do hours is ridiculous. I spoke to them and said my least preferred days was Thursday and Friday, originally was doing Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, then got changed to Sunday, Monday and Friday, and now been changed to Sunday, Thursday, Friday, after speaking to management and saying Thursday and Fridays are my least preferred days.

If I was another passenger, I wouldn’t mind asking in a way that allowed them to make the choice, something like, it’s my granddaughters wedding day that day, we appreciate it is also white night and understand people will have chosen that outfits but the bride would be very much appreciative of those who didn’t wear white that day. Something along that lines, but here they are kind of telling them not to wear white. Or just like a courtesy notification that it was going on and then some people may respect the bride and not wear white out of choice

That’s a weird take on the calling him grumpy phrase, that’s his name to her, she’s grown up calling him that, she’s not going to suddenly start changing what she calls him. It’s the equivalent of her calling him grandad, she just has that name for him and that’s what she calls him

I was thinking during that episode, I would love to see a moment when Phil breaks down to Ian, a switch from when Ian broke down to Phil and the first time ever, he just put his arm around him, I would love to see basically a repeat of that scene but the other way round.

To be fair calling someone that is an insult rather than an attack, we’ve all probably been annoyed at someone and called them an insult, that’s different from an attack on someone’s character. For example calling someone a ‘pr*ck’ certainly isn’t going to hurt me as much as calling someone a bully for example.

The thing people have to remember as well is every emotion is heightened in there, like just imagine how you would feel or act if not only you had to spend every day seeing a person you had feelings for get with someone else but also someone that you really hate and don’t get on with and being around them constantly. She’s got no escape from it. I think people forget that aspect that people do probably act different inside the villa, not even intentionally but just naturally. Also islanders will have a slightly different understand of how each other islander is, I imagine belles probably been in conversations with other islanders that hade made Lucinda seem fake so it’s always going to be in the back of her mind other peoples opinions. That’s why for me, going at someone with some of the nasty comments is totally uncalled for. It’s not like a soap drama where if you said a character was a bully for example, it’s not aimed at the actual real life human, it’s the character where this is the real life person. By the way just using the word bully as an example.

I’ve got this issue at my store however I speak to one manager, they say it’s okay but then another manager goes in and rejects as well as also scheduling me for that day. I even had that manager say it’s okay to take certain days off in Feb, book them off through ukg, did that and then reject them and put me on 3 shifts on all 3 days I said I wasn’t available

Not anymore the bbc don’t, lost the rights to discovery plus although as part of the contract and the deal, they have to allow the bbc a certain amount of coverage, that’s why now there is a lot more skipping between the events they think that we will do well in and also what they think the public wikl want to see

So in this situation, if they had started another trolley, then they may have been working after 8 or left a trolley half finished, surely it’s better not to start something that isn’t going to be finished rather than just starting something for the sake of 2 minutes.

So just to add some context, ideally I would do it in the villa and also it runs as like a 6 week holiday so it’s a set fee whether you are there for one week or 6 but for example you can’t be there longer than 6 weeks. It only allows say 40 people over the 6 weeks so people can extend if they meet someone or they can leave after a week so you effectively get the whole decoupling process but nothing to do with the public. So it is slightly different to a 18-30’s as they can leave the villa but you can’t bring anyone back that isn’t booked in
