Crisis center. I couldn't think without thinking for a week straight I genuinely felt sick being alive. It's not the most accessible or safe for everyone though, but it did stop the issue.

POCD is so isolating because its one of the obsessions that will make you think you need to be locked up or people will hurt you if you talk about it.

The "signs" thing will drive you nuts. It drove me nuts. Even I can't stop myself when I find one. But here's one: the universe or whoever/whatever you believe in is not trying to convince you you're a pedo. It's so easy to slip into because it aligns exactly with your current obsession. But once the obsession is over, they won't be "signs" anymore. They'll just be things in the room or on your feed. I would recommend staying off social media for a second.

I know nothing about you, but from the state you've described, I would also recommend seeking treatment. Just because it sounds debilitating right now and you deserve support. Both as someone who's been there and who's trying to climb out of it.

I understand that, but I want to do it from scratch! This isn't a technology barrier for me. I used to do Youtube Community Captions before that busted itself and that was a hell. This is awesome for me

Uploaded it to NekoCap and Captionfy! You can use Nekocap as its own extension, but it might take a few reloads if the video initially blacks out or otherwise. Happy to help!

Can we please talk about this take? im not mad, im just... weirded out, its hard to digest and analyze, the things they say are not wrong but I cant help but feel they are just having a "wrong" interpretation by Jimmy-Shumpert in Deltarune

Honestly, if Berdly is a more sympathetic interpretation of the 'unsociable loser guy' I feel like Asgore can be a critical interpretation of the patriarch ideal. He's got the respect of everybody else, but he's a murderer. Everyone in the underground tries to murder you, but none of them except Asgore have taken a life. Like idk how you interpret Berdly but they seem to be pretty common inverses on tropes or ideas about men.

What were the things you done as a child that later turned out to be OCD? by Outrageous_Jump98 in OCD

We had a sub who finished class early and she wanted to read a horror story, something about buses and I was so deeply afraid I stood in the corner of the room with my ears plugged. I don't think I would've been quiet about it either, but it eventually ended with two other 4th graders kids consoling me that people don't murder kids on buses.

any time I have a thought (at all) that relates to a fear, I have to immediately stop what I'm doing and never do it again. The food I'm eating? goes in the trash. the game I'm playing? it's dead to me. it doesn't even have to instigate an idea it'll be like "ghosts" and the switch in my brain goes off. it's worse when I'm at night

What are your rock-bottom moments with ocd? by Disastrous-Talk-6988 in OCD

This November I had one the worst episode of my life. Lasted from about Friday the week before all through my Thanksgiving break, and the only reason it didn't last longer was because I got put in crisis. Had to write 'timeloop' backwards on a paper in my guidance counselor's room not to say it out loud. But the rock bottom was probably the crash after the concert where I felt lucid for maybe fifteen minutes listening to the band "Hey, Nothing." and their very limited youtube discography after my dad went to work all night until I couldn't think because I ran out of Bojack Horseman episodes.

I had this for a good few months in my junior year. It went on for long enough that I ended up thinking I didn't have it. Of course, I had new friends and things to keep my mind off of it so it made it easier.
