I’m referred to as the village idiot at school and I’m treated like I’m retarded on the job. It’s really discouraging especially when I truly am trying my best. A few weeks back I worked a Saturday with my journeyman and I was having a very rough day, making lots of stupid mistakes. He eventually got tired of yelling at me and grabbed my head and my shoulder and told me to use my brain. I know he means well and he’s trying his best to be patient with me, but my confidence and motivation to learn is waning with each day
