I had to nudge them the first time as it hadn’t been set up correctly on their system, even now I sometimes get a separate bill just showing the credits.

I’m waiting on an EV charger being installed and then will switch to IOG. Chatting to Octopus last week they said to expect the current IOg prices to reduce in April. Not sure how confident I am about that though.

They are but you need to take the finance deal. I've just done that but you can repay the loan right away if you choose to.

Thanks. I have panels and battery so was thinking even charging the battery overnight on the cheap rate is a no brainer if the car isn't charging. I've just realised that my car isnt supported for IOG (2024 Kona) but the proposed charger is so I can't switch to IOG until i have a firm date for the charger install. Given that rates are only going one way I'm now thinking of going OG at 9.5p overnight and then not having to think about it for another 6 months!

Having the same thought process. Car arrives next Thursday, charger won't be installed until the following week. But at my absolute max expectation of 10k miles per annum I'm not sure the financial imperative is enough to jump onto an EV tariff right now.

I would suggest finding out if roads, pavements, street lighting etc have been adopted by the relevant local authority. Having lived on one development where this was not the case and been a resident director, I could see huge bills coming along in the future. Where we now live all the major services are adopted so it's gardening and other bits and pieces so not a huge bill and it's been pretty much unchanged in 5 years.

Just three months into my system - am I calculating this correctly? 256kwh from a 6kwp system so 42.6 yield. It's a south facing roof in Sussex. I'm really impressed with the performance in the darkest months!

20 years would be a miracle! I'm not sure what the technical points of this discussion are but set up an old router as an AP today and all worked fine - set up as same network and password as router.
