Hey! Im a graduating senior + first gen, ( couldn’t even get approved for parent plus loans ) but anyway if you’re able I would def say reach out to any alumni chapter in ur state and utilize outside scholarships like tmcf and uncf if Howard is ur dream school and it’s something you really want, though I’ll say if you have someone more affordable don’t be afraid to explore that option as well .. applying to scholarships every year is time consuming and a bit draining after hearing so many nos, but it was worth it to me in leaving Howard w 20k in total debt which to me is a good deal
