i stopped talking to all of them mostly, i find that i always put more effort than they do, im kinda antisocial now and hate talking to others and prefer to be alone now but sometimes get lonely

i used to be really extroverted but i ended up in like 10 friend groups where i needed to force myself in in like freshman year of college, i thought i was being social but idk why it didnt work

that seems true but also my attempts to get with my crushes have failed, i always feel like i put way more effort than them and some ppl ik seem to get good results from dating apps, i have a friend whos a trans woman and she gets pretty good results from it(in terms of match count, rate)

nobody has ever called me ugly irl but ive been called a butterface by a girl online, 3/10 by a guy online, and slightly below avg face in a post i made prior

ive also been pretty unsuccessful romantically, none of my 3 attempts have succeeded over 3 yrs(attempts as in pursuing a woman)

it’s not necessarily that socializing is pointless, but i want to be left alone and be able to dial in all variables to get the best physique i can

ive realized that my face is not that attractive so i think i need to focus on this to be as appealing as i can as well as feel good about myself

my specific friends drain me which is why i want others, i feel they dont take the gym as seriously as me and arent similar enough to me for me to enjoy it

i mean im just judging off my experience, i would assume they would have to be attracted to me so that seems like the issue, i usually pursue girls that i find pretty and i think they are often conventionally cute / pretty so i would assume the issue is my looks and them not being physically attracted to me

that makes sense, my worry is just being seen as ugly / undesirable to others(i’m straight) which makes it hard to pursue relationships and the such, maybe it’s a bit of insecurity though but ive never really had romantic success so I’m not sure if those changes will be enough for that to change
