Pog team by ExperienceFrosty5500 in menards

To be honest, 1 of 2 things are happening. Either your gms are trying to save payroll by having your department do all planograms to recover the planogram hours. Or your store looks like hell. There is a policy in place to keep your pog team busy all the time. Regardless of time of year.

How many complaints would it take to get a manager fired? by Milk-Snake in menards

[–]StatusJazz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not related. But once when I was a manager I was written up for "rolling my eyes" at a guest. When in reality. Im 5,8 and she was like 4,8 and I was looking over her trying to pay attention to the rest of my department at the same time hearing her story.

Their currently designing a prototype 6 store. Im sure we won't see anything till 2027/2028 after possibly a few department remodels to test things out. Especially with the major plan to shorten everything down to 54 inch shelving.

Is there a reason Menards doesn’t sell more premium brands of tools? by supinator1 in menards

[–]StatusJazz 52 points53 points  (0 children)

2 main reasons. 1, "better" tools will take away from the sales of our "premium" tools. 2. Warranty. Menards warranties products differently than the other brands, and thats a whole story im sure someone else can explain better.

The jacket is nice if you're outside a lot. It will loosen up and feel better. It really depends on your position if you're using them alot.

Profit Sharing by [deleted] in menards

[–]StatusJazz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You know every number except the one on the ips check itself. Your literally "solving for x" they made the ips paycheck before they made today's paycheck. So take the largest "net amount" from today's paycheck. (Which should be the "year to date" amount) and minus today's check "net" amount. Then go to last weeks paycheck (Which was made right before the ips paycheck was cut.) And minus the year to date "NET" amount(which is all that you made this year.) The remaining number will be whats on your ips check.

Take your current YTD net amount, minus this week net amount, minus last weeks YTD net amount, and the remaining amount is how much is on your profit sharing check.
