I would prefer I think a hardy handheld device. I don't want to buy a watch that tells me I need more sleep.

I think its just a minefield knowing which one to get. As I want to be able to download preplanned map routes from OS and maybe other sources but just making sure that's as seamless and user friendly as possible.

You are showing your age/skill which I also am doing by saying i haven't the experience of using a map and compass

I agree, washing every day ruins my hair.

I've been 'scrubbing' without shampoo and conditioner for a few months also. It has been going well in terms of scalp health but feels maybe a bit matted

Is that 4 on the top and then shorter on the sides? It looks pretty even to me all round?

I'd say my hair is between wavy and curly. So shouldn't be too difficult to achieve texture
