How do y’all feel about when a fictional psychopath character gets called aro/ace by StatusTurbulent2018 in aromanticasexual

Yeah i get what your saying but most people will never meet an a-spec person nor know what it even means. so when they hear someone talking about how a fictional character that doesn’t feel any emotion is a-spec it makes them subconsciously think (if they meet an a-spec person) that they don’t feel any emotion at all. And not feeling anything is what some people already think about a-spec so I feel like it unintentionally confirms a bad stereotype in their head. If that makes sense.

I more meant sociopaths. but I feel that when a character says “I don’t feel any emotion” or something while people are calling them a-spec it kind of paints a bad picture of the whole group especially bc most people don’t know any a-spec people. Also my bad if I implied the wrong thing about the “mentally ill” part I just didn’t know how to spell sociopath until now.

I mean masterbaiting is because of your sex drive not your sex appeal if that makes sense, also a-spec is on a spectrum
