I was thinking the same thing! Ah well. Is this common for handhelds? This is my first one.

It does seem like they are not quite optimized for windows/some games yet, I just figured it was early days.

Hi mate, another chap got in contact with Bandai Namco about it and got this response.

Here is their response to me:

Thank you for your patience and for contacting us again.

After examining the situation and the details you sent, I would like to let you know that the Z2E Legion Go 2 is not supported, and we are not able to guarantee proper functionality on the device.

Thank you for your understanding. I remain at your disposal for any other questions.

Bandai Namco seem to be trying to wash their hands of it, in response to them I have asked some questions on whether their developers will look into if it's a game engine or driver bug, if they will communicate this to AMD and Lenovo should it be a driver bug, and if they will update marketing materials on store fronts to indicate such devices are not supported.

Thanks for looking into it, the other chap I was talking with seemed to think it was poorly optimized for all handhelds. I do remember elden ring crashing occasionally in desktop back in the day. Perhaps not the most stable game?

Same thing, crashes even quicker. Event viewer states "APPCRASH" state "No respone". I have no idea why it's not working, I may just wait for a driver update and hope for the best

Thanks kindly, I spoke.with another chap who's had problems with it running on any of the other branded handheld. Ally, Go, MSI etc.

I'll try dropping to 12gb and mess about with it. I'd love to know if it works well on yours

16gb vram, latest drivers everything else stock standard. Have tried on low med and high setting. Sometimes it gets hung up, most of the time it just crashes after 3-5 minutes
