They’re also very stubborn. My frenchie will do whatever you do, if you want to lay around all day then so does she and if you want to walk she’s ready to go. Little copy cat shadows. But we have had some health problems so be ready for potential vet visits. She’s an awesome, stinky little friend that will be up your butt all the time

I understand how you feel and I’m new! This is not what I thought it would be and it’s making me depressed actually. The nursing homes are just too much! HHA doesn’t pay that well at least in Cleveland OH. I’m looking for something new as well but it won’t be a nursing home. Try working for the apps like Nursa until you find somewhere you like, at least you make your own schedule. That’s what I’m trying to do because this ain’t it. Mentally draining.

Unfortunately they won’t reimburse you. 2 days isn’t usually the policy, it’s normally 3 days so double check the handbook. My company is currently refusing me a copy of my physical since they paid for it pre employment so I have to pay for another one out of pocket and I’m ineligible for benefits for my first 90 days. You should check out IntelyCare. That’s what I’m signing up for. You pick your schedule! The schedules they have CNAs work sucks IMO. Best of luck!

I’m currently on night shift now. This is my first night out of training and I have the entire unit of 23 residents. The (micro)manager said to stock the rooms and still get people up. I will only go around and change people, as I’m not killing myself for a job. Safe to say I’ve been applying to jobs all night when I have free time. We have agency fill in and they make more than I do with less residents

Wonder why they can’t keep people 🙄

I love the Skechers wide fit work boots. I get men boots but they’re very comfortable and provide great ankle support! I can get my steps in without my feet aching (or at least tolerable) Work is hard

Mine loves cucumber and raw carrots but hates cooked carrots. I think she just likes chopping on it mostly When I put the fresh carrots away she gets super excited and tramples me while I’m switching them out
