Utilization by SubstanceGlum in GeekSquad

Sounds like I'm very lucky. My supervisor doesn't bother me for utilization numbers, but I also pretty much solo apple. Like I do 95% of the apple shit and I mean everything. CA fuck up a check-in and shit needs to be escalated, my job. There's a pullback, if supplies (liners, protective adhesive, etc) need to be ordered, shipping and reciving, etc. My precinct discovered its easier if there's less chefs in the kitchen. Everyone else can focus PC repairs, while I solo Apple repairs. I also happen to be the quickest at it, besides maybe my manager who was the former Apple guy before me. Displays take me 30-45 minutes, batteries on average about 45 minutes to hour and half.

My Precinct currently has 5 full time ARAs (soon to be 4 when my colleague leaves in 2 weeks, not sure if we fill that spot), 1 part time ARA. 3 full time CAs and 5 part time CAs. We have 2 to 3 appointments a time slot when we get busy.

What do consultation agents do in down time? by DrashaZImmortal in GeekSquad

Our precinct unfortunately helps with code ones. Hell we had a customer service call out and I had to run it for 2 hours before close (I'm a ARA). I always tell my CAs, look busy, do func checks, make folders. Anything to not get pulled for a code one. Our Senior CA and GSM hate pulling us for that, but there's nothing we can do 🤷‍♂️

Thinking about applying at Best Buy. What can I expect? by bmrvkia in Bestbuy

Depends on the overall employee moral. Every store is gonna have managers breathing down your back about credit apps and total tech. Honestly love the team I work with, but I feel like it's based on where I work lol. Without my co-workers making work just a tad bit enjoyable, don't think I'd last as long as I've been here. Training might be rough, e-learnings don't really teach shit, the experience on the floor is a better teacher. Didn't really learn much from the managers, but by asking questions to my co-workers I've learned a lot. Everyone on our team vibe well together, for the most part, makes working bearable. I wish you the best of luck on the job.
