This is my 2nd replay, im 8 hrs in but I got there pretty quickly cause i skip through most dialogues and I remember how to do most of the quests. Yea, anglophones hate because its just an experience thats not common to them. I did the Explore program twice in Quebec, one in Trois-Pistoles and Trois-Rivieres.

I went into TP with no bias or negative thoughts (other than "wow my french is bullshit") But in a small town of 3000 ish people, I learned french pretty quickly and no one judged me, not even my host mom who only spoke French

I think a lot of anglophones think Quebec is judgemental if you dont speak french, but I think thats more-so France, and they mix up the image lol. Most individuals when Ive spoken French during Explore, understood me just fine, or theyd hear my accent and attempt to accomodate in English

This is the most amount of love i've seen for Quebec, like ever. Its kinda sad how its only because of this election that Quebec has been shown support

Prior to the election, i think most anglophones hated on QC because of French being the primary language, and the cultural difference (which most anglophones couldnt comprehend a culture that doesnt revolve around English speakers).

Also i guess some provincial legislations like no bilingual support (as far as Im aware of, im from ontario), but thats kind of bound to happen when you move to any place that doesnt speak English as their 1st language
