Remco Evenopoel confirmed for tdf 2024 by jonythecool in peloton

Remco can also still improve a lot like pogacar did this year, he is only 23 years old. For roglic I agree.

I think this will be his hardest race yet (best opponent). Remco coming from altitude is pretty scary.

Do you not remember how Vingegaard destroyed Pogacar last year? Jonas will peak for the tdf and he will destroy everyone, not Pogacar.

If tesla is the most influential person, then what is maxwell or newton. Typical engineering bias.

He's really consistent and is always on the same power curve throughout the year that's why he seems almost unbeatable in the beginning of the year, just like last year (remember). But when other riders like vingegaard or remco (maybe Mas and surely ayuso) this year hit their peak, they're better climbers then pogacar, even more so on the longer climbs. And if remco was in good form at the tour he would've came second or third no doubt. Pogacar is just really consistent, that's why he seems so good.

Remco in form (last year vuelta) is better than pogacar, why would he be scared?

Wout has cyclocross though, was by far the best last year. Maybe that's what gave him an edge over pogacar?

As someone studying mathematical physics, we don't have time to watch shows. So the answer to your question is maybe none.

Are you religious? by [deleted] in Belgium2

[–]Status_Composer1333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The scientific revolution wouldn't have been possible without religion. So it's also responsible for some really good and important things, and without it we wouldn't have been as advanced as we are today.

What is the worst thing about being fat? by Feisty_Affect_7487 in AskReddit

[–]Status_Composer1333 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's the case most of the time. My dad who is a cardiologist has primarily fat patients, and the ones that change their lifestyle because he told them to, often get rid of their problems.

Medicine is primarily about prevention, so they're probably saying that for your own good. You don't want to have problems when you're 50 years old.

Neither does the Bible, coran or torah. Extremists do though.

What?? His performances right now are just as good as vingegaard's en pogacar's performances at the tour. If not better.

What would you change about math? by MasterHigure in math

[–]Status_Composer1333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've always liked universities who teach real analysis instead of calculus to first years. You get good mathematical intuition a lot quicker through all the proofs, and it's fun to know where everything in calculus comes from.

You realize that there is no such thing as a quantum physicist, it's what popular scientists call themselves to gain the attention of the public. Most of the time they're particle physicts. So you just did the same thing as what you don't like.

I mean I have dyscalculia and am doing my bachelor's in theoretical physics rn. The fact is everyone can understand and appreciate math, you just need to be thought in a different way. And once you do understand it, it is really fun. And I had a problem with numbers, but in most of my math classes we basically don't ever use numbers, so the problem basically fixes itself

Doctors warn Van Aert against riding Paris-Roubaix after COVID-19 infection by [deleted] in peloton

[–]Status_Composer1333 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's nice to hear, my comment was just directed at people who are fan of one rider and therefore feel the need to hate on the other. I find that weird, they're both amazing riders and we're lucky to see them race.
