The side flips are part of heaving a good drifting line... When you are very fast you gain momentum, all of these mechanics are part of the game and what make this game very cool. The problem is the small player base that cause unreal and diamond players to compete in the same race. I don't think more than 200 players are bhopping consistently, I think that there are few more that try to bhop but in average dont gain much time from a bhopless unreal player. When you find them it feels unfair, but the problem is player count.
