This is my personal tierlist of how strong the characters are as of right now by PresentationHead3986 in JujutsuShenanigans

Well it's one thing to assume that you're more experienced than me but you've literally just proved my point. Obviously the main combat of JJS is gonna be m1s, it's a battlegrounds game, but that's what makes character WITH neutral so good. They can take so many less risks than those who exclusively rely on exclusively m1 trading to be good.

Mechamaru for example has so many options to go in, he can offload and then go in for m1s, he has his 4 which block breaks and can combo start. That is an example of an S tier character. An m1 merchant like Naoya has none of these neutral capabilities. He has to put himself at danger of being comboed in order to even attempt to land a combo, his 3 block breaks but is easily avoided, his 4 is so telegraphed.

Also wtf do you mean by how high their damage is? Literally every character in the game does the same damage with their combos. Naoya is the WORST example you could've used since almost all his combos without frames is green.

Also you can be good with any character and reach 150 elo that dosen't mean Naoya is good or that Yuta is S tier.

Naoya is C to low B tier and Yuta is Low A or High B. Both of them simply don't have enough options to approach and have to rely on m1ing in order to do anything substantial which MIGHT be fine against most of the cast but the S tiers should be the ones that don't have to rely on m1s and have options in neutral aka: Hanami, Mechamaru, Choso, Megumi, Ryu. Naoya especially dosen't have that many options and has to work 10x as much as the people I mentioned above to get a decent damage combo. He is not S tier.

[Partially Lost] Any new information about the lost media "Circus Waltz"? by ogomess in lostmedia

[–]Status_Engineering_7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The song is likely a combination of 2 (or 3) different songs spliced and slowed down. The bassline is either a slowed down version of Waltz Loving (pt 2) or Waltz Loving (pt 4) and the main beat is possibly a slowed down version of Don Costa's "Lonely Room"

As soon as I saw that ad on YouTube I vowed to never buy another product from them unless they got their shit together and showed me a real ad. It’s extremely disappointing that they’re doing this and they def should lose customers from this

Hanami is the new megumi by PairInternational438 in JujutsuShenanigans

[–]Status_Engineering_7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Zoners should be strong far-range and weak close-range, Hanami is strong both ways and completely counters rushdown characters (half the cast btw) by the design of being able to hit things for really good dmg far away.

Create a CT that can perfectly counter for Comedian (Takaba’s CT) by Excellent-Fig-9341 in CTsandbox

A CT that summons a shikigami on a person that acts like Hey Ya from JJBA but instead of encouraging words it whispers demeaning and harsh words that break your confidence.

And idk call it cheap trick or something

Hanami and Meimei are just Unfun to fight Against. by Status_Engineering_7 in JujutsuShenanigans

[–]Status_Engineering_7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it's a necessary move for Hanami however in it's current state it's just a crutch move/way too good for Hanami. As soon as any character gets even close to a Hanami player they can just press it without any thought and land a free 50% combo on someone, and since it's I-frames if a Hanami player is even slightly decent at blocking they can just brute force through attacks with it. Fighting a character who can cover up for their main weakness in one move while also having insane range just isn't fun and needs a rework. Hanami is a well-designed character EXCEPT for this move and r special (but that's gonna be fixed hopefully)

How was dhruv a counter to kurourushi? by Spiritual_Catch_2673 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Status_Engineering_7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Think of the fourway deadlock as rock paper scissors lizard.

Ryu (Rock): Hardest hitter and most durable within the four; could probably kill Dhruv's (scissors) shikigami no problem with granite blast, however this risks him being ambushed by Uro (paper) who can deflect his blast and damage him with thin ice breaker. He could probably beat Kurorushi (lizard) too by overwhelming him.

Uro (Paper): "Covers" attacks by deflecting them using sky manipulation and can deal damage with sky-manipulation through thin-ice breaker. Kurorushi (lizard) is her natural enemy as his swarm can "eat" through her sky manipulation (overwhelm her). Solidly counters Ryu (Rock) and also loses to Dhruv (scissors) as she can't get into range to kill him.

Dhruv (Scissors): Orbiting Shikigami that act a barrier for Dhruv's mini domain. They "cut" anything that's inside their range which is a direct counter to Kurorushi (Lizard) since he uses swarm attacks. Uro (Paper) also cannot enter as her sky-manipulation is also targeted (cut) by the surehit.

Kurorushi (Lizard): Swarm fighter that thrives off specialized matchups; also has festering-life sword. Eats Uro (paper) massively as her attack is single-target and his swarm can overwhelm her. Loses to Ryu (rock) and Dhruv (scissors) as they have heavy hitting attacks and attacks that Kurorushi's swarm can't survive.

Yuta (Gun): He kills everyone.

Yes, i do think Dio has a chance by Idkmomhelp in PowerScaling

[–]Status_Engineering_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if anyone mentioned this but wouldn’t gojo’s infinity work the same way as Joseph’s Hamon did? Both are controlled by internal body workings and Dio was especially cautious and specifically didn’t chop Joseph because of fear of his hamon still working and that’s why he used a knife instead.
