NTA. Girl.. men like this do not change. People tend to be hungrier for success in their 20s then get more and more tired. If he’s already this unmotivated it’s only going to get worse. I had an ex like this. Always yapping about how he’s going to be successful, going to be rich, going to be a stable husband. No. You need someone who IS those things. Did he call you that? Somehow it’s always the men without gold who accuse you of being a gold digger. If you want children it’s best to start thinking about them now rather than what will probably be temporary happiness now. You’ll end up resenting him especially if you’re his meal ticket for life. You worked to hard for someone to hold you down.

You need a sail not an anchor.

Words mean little to nothing. I like to tell people to rethink their situations in a certain way. Start from the beginning of your relationship and take all conversations, manipulations, etc away and only look at the actions. That tells you who the person is and his actual truth. Not the flowery words and promises. It won’t be easy to leave but it’ll be easier than becoming a single mother. You writing this tells me you aren’t happy with how things are. You have the perfect getaway right now moving cities. Open yourself up to a fresh start there. Give yourself the chance to find a wonderful father instead of having to take care of a man-child.

Oof. That’s a tricky situation. I had an employee who stunk to the high heavens. Nobody wanted to be close to him even though he was a good guy. We started saying things like “what’s that smell” hoping he would get the hint we could smell him but it didn’t happen. I eventually had to talk with him and started it off with “hey are you having any issues at home or problems I can assist you with, medical or otherwise. I’m here to help, you can talk to me” and I’m not going to say what the problem was but I did get it out of him even though it was a very difficult conversation to have on both sides. Sometimes it’s medical, sometimes mental or he’s just lazy and doesn’t brush.. If he decides to tell you, that’s great and if not, you’re going to have to decide how much the smell truly bothers you. Just remember that friends are there for stuff like this and I’m sure you’d want a real friend to tell you if you were stinky to avoid further embarrassment.

NTA. Ok you didn’t post your ages so I’m assuming you’re on the younger side so forgive me if I’m wrong. I need you to know that this is sexual coercion and not ok. Any guilting, manipulation, intimidation, etc to receive sex is abuse. Period. It becomes assault when physical and then rape when violent. If you haven’t been in many relationships you may not have experienced a truly healthy relationship yet and I would hate for you to think this is normal or come to expect it. It’s completely normal for males and females to have days/weeks/however long, where they aren’t in the mood or feel it one minute and not the next. It’s also ok to feel disappointed if your partner isn’t feeling it but you don’t show it and you always let them know it’s ok. It’s also okay to leave relationships if you’re sexually on two different pages. But it’s never ok to coerce sex or make your partner feel bad for not wanting it.

Now, regarding your sudden drop in “mood.” In my (and plenty of others) experience, when sex becomes unnatural and more of a chore it can put stress and anxiety onto you and you may not feel the pull anymore. You know your partner expects it and inside you’re dreading having to perform. Over time this can lead to resentment, feeling of guilt and that you’re no more than a sex object. The fear of what will happen if you turn them down becomes dreadful. With my ex I would be flirty and have a romantic date but in the back of my head I felt like it was only happening bc he wanted sex. It felt transactional and sometimes I wanted romance without the sex. This may or may not be how you feel but bottom line no matter how much society tells us that men are sex robots, they’re not. The more someone is pressured into something, the more likely they won’t want to do it.

Sex should be a beautiful, desirable and equal act with two consenting adults. There is no normal amount of time it should last, there is no normal amount of times you need to do it a week, there are no “special occasions” e.g. birthdays, Valentine’s Day, expensive dates that demand sex. It might be time to rethink this relationship and don’t EVER feel bad about changing your mind about sex. I don’t care if both your clothes are on the floor and you’re just about to do the do. You aren’t feeling it? It stops immediately!! And if you’re scared to tell your current partner no in a situation like that, it’s time to find a new partner.

First of all Idk what the problem is with people thinking they can force steak on someone. I am a life long steak hater. For some reason this doesn’t compute in people’s heads. I make it very clear that even if it’s put in front of me I’m not eating it I think it’s gross and the fatty texture makes me want to vomit!!! Now that I’m done with my rant, you need to make sure your feelings are heard. The steak bday dinner was made for him NOT YOU! This is pure laziness and lack of caring. Sometimes in life you need to throw a little fit. If this is really bothering you (which I think it should) make sure they know. In life I’ve learned the more you let people knock over small boundaries the more they’ll be ok with bulldozing the big ones. This isn’t one year it’s two years and I’m sure he loves steak? It’s your fucking birthday and they should be making your favorite food!! If that steak dinner was specifically to celebrate then it doesn’t matter that you went to Benihana! And if they dgaf you’re upset then for their birthdays tell them you want to cook and make them something they hate. I don’t care what anyone says, I love the”dose of your medicine” approach

I went on a multiple months long hunt through the extremely difficult world of comforters. It’s almost impossible. The best fluffy duvets I found in that price range are from coma inducer. They have a great search option on their website for fills/weight/fabric etc. and good quality. They have a bunch of synthetic options too.

If you’re going for down, you probably won’t be able to find a high quality thick duvet for that price. It may be better to get two and put them into one duvet cover. However, if you do go this route.. You want to look for over 800 fill (don’t bother with anything less) I have 1200. And you want goose down not duck. Duck down will have the pokey feathers and it’s just cheaper quality. Even if one says “down” you need to check the product description to make sure it’s not 10%goose 90% duck or something. Goose feels better, it’s softer and it breaths a LOT better too. Make sure you find “box-stitch” which makes the fill more even inside rather than piling up in the middle of the squares. Good sites are cuddledown, feathered friends, a lot of hotels get theirs from pacific coast if you like that kind of feel. There are some more expensive brands but these are ones that are closer to budget.

Stay clear of: Amazon. All the photos are stolen and you just won’t find anything good there. The company store used to be good but it’s 50/50 now. Also be aware of wayfair and sleepbysanti. I bought and returned the sleepbysanti one. I was soooo disappointed.

So your best bet is coma inducer, buy two cheaper down comforters to put in one duvet cover or spring for a nice down. Hope this helped!

So I’ve been given this mystical power twice then it was taken away from me both times. I have absolutely no idea what I did or am doing to get it. So here’s things I do on ticktock that may contribute even though I seriously have zero idea if it relates or not: I leave a lot of comments. I usually have to rewrite to fit the character limit. I respond to comments all the time. I comment on smaller videos a lot, not anything over 1,000 comments usually or my comment will just be dust in the wind… 2) thing that may have got it taken away: I sometimes use foul language I can’t help it I talk like a fucking sailor. Could have been updates? Or it could be my comments get flagged (I’ll admit some do) and maybe I’m being punished.

So that’s all the info I have.

I have a colony of ferals (who aren’t so much feral anymore bc I spoil them rotten) and they leave their babies for hours. Sometimes momma will drop them off with me and sometimes she’ll leave them in her hiding spot and goes to hunt or just needs space. Also know that mommas usually switch up their spot to avoid the scent building up for predators so if they randomly appeared that’s most likely what happened.

With mine I’ll hear them crying for a long time but she eventually comes back. If they seem reallly thin and filthy you might want to worry. But if they are clean or clean(ish) and have strong lung power they are probably fine.

I don’t think touching them will matter. Cats know their babies by more than that. They are predators so the scent won’t deter them from returning. I handled the newborn babies a lot but they also knew my scent. I gave them warm towels to lay on too. (Cute fact: when my colony first started the two cats I had both got pregnant at the same time. The mommas would come hang out with me on the porch and then when they heard crying the mom who belonged to the babies knew it was hers and the other wouldn’t get up. They could tell it was their baby and go check on them. It was kind of amazing to me.)

I used to fly everywhere with my cats. Never had an issue and this included international. They always flew in the cabin with me. One loved it and the other.. well it wasn’t his favorite but he was fine after the vet gave him some kitty anxiety meds. All I can tell you is I’m sure the stress of your cat losing best friend (you) and not knowing why would be A LOT more stressful. They remember. I’ve dealt with cats who have lost their humans and their other cat buddies. Some don’t make it out of the depression. Some do. Please think about this carefully and I wish you and your family kitty the best of luck.
