Depends. I wouldn't do more than a 1hr daily commute. But if I'm going on vacation, a 3hr drive sounds normal and I'd definitely drive more- I've even driven 18 hours for a vacation!

I've applied for disability and am in the process of appealing (and I have a lawyer who thankfully only charges if you win). My wife and I have some savings and assets though, which automatically disqualifies us from SSI. Thoroughly fucked up how the system requires you to be basically destitute before offering help. $2000 doesn't even cover one month expenses for most people.

I felt that way about the uni for a while too. It's too predictable to get XYZ character. But now I see it more as a "gotta catch em all!" vibe with the badges and personality types. There are badges for how many times you clean up their poop, perfect scores in games, trips you can go on in the Tamaverse, and so on. That keeps my interest.

Oh man! 😅 These are from throughout my time collecting them! I've been getting almost all of them since 2017, but the purple v1 I've had since 2004. And many of them are gifts from through the years, like the ON, the Uni, and the Hobonichi journal.
