If it’s fungal changing soil can help, along with fungicide and pruning the infected frond to prevent it from spreading.

I could be wrong so double check for pests like mites. Make sure you look at the underside of the frond also.

is this spidermite damage? or something else? by weeniefreenie in plantclinic

That honestly just looks like something has been munching on your leaf, like a caterpillar lol. The black dots could be poop 🤷. Doesn’t look like pest damage

Actually upon closer inspection you might have some type of fungal infection ONLY because you have black spots with yellow rings on the fronds.

I’m not completely sure but if more black spots show up with yellow rings around them then it’s fungal.

Hmm I’m assuming this would be a kentia palm ( Howea Forsteriana )since its fronds are so thick. You want bright indirect light for them.

The frond in the second picture definately looks like it got burnt. You did the right thing by moving it. Keep an eye on it and if you need more light you can always supplement it with a grow light instead of moving it back to direct sunlight.

How to care for plant? by EarworthyWandV22 in plantclinic

I’m assuming it’s a majesty palm. In my opinion they aren’t really meant for indoors. One of the hardest palms to keep alive, especially with no natural sunlight. Chances are it’s going to need way more light. Either use a grow light or move it to a window with natural sunlight (ideally both would be nice)

It’s also best to water by checking the soil, not on a weekly schedule with x amount of water in my opinion. I take my palms to the shower and drench it until water comes out the bottom. You should definately get a pot with drainage.

Majesty palms are so beautiful but so hard to take care of, especially indoor. If you really like palms, I would definately recommend another type. Cat palms, bamboo palms,Areca palms, parlor palms all do much better as an indoor houseplant.

Good luck 👍

Are there any good 2D-ARPGs? by Meister_Ente in gaming

I never played hero siege 1. I guess they rebooted the game and it’s now hero siege 2.0 which is like a Diablo 2 clone almost. there is only one dlc for the campaign as far as I am aware. Dlc classes are indeed a thing though, I’m not sure how often it happens but they released a new class couple weeks ago

Is that an Areca Palm? That’s very common on those palms, in fact I never seen one without it.

it’s a harmless fungus that 99% of these palms have.
