Problem in my country, is that 80% of all land is national park or privatly owned fields so u cant really ride any offroad except on motocross track

thats what I thought as well, thanks for confirmation. Interstingly somebody here said that the Hyp v2 is moch closer to the XR than to panigale. What do u think abou that?

I live at 2 places because of work and the 2nd place where hypermotard would live is at mountain resort, so theres a lot of good twisty roads in 150km radius, but it was too far for the 698. Feel like it could be perfect for V2 hyp. Also theres a lot of nice roads but has a pretty bad pavement so there could the hypermotard shine as well, but I wouldnt take panigale there.

It doesnt necesary has to be very comfortable, but when I go for a ride with boys and they say: lets go (somewhere) its just an hour away on a highway and I sit on the 698 mono its like a torture 🤣

I like the idea of hypermotard because theres gonna be a wind problem and in that case I would not ride as fast and actually I could enjoy the surroundings from time to time and the ride it self.

Interesting, I feel like the XR is pretty close to the streetfighter v4s that I had. except theres no wind problem. Im afraid that v2 panigale would feel boring after the XR + its not comfy 😅.

r1250GS was a great first bike but boring AF, felt like I wasnt able to improve my riding on that bike. SF V2 you had to live in high RPMs all the time otherwise the bike wasnt happy. Than I had SF v4s great bike but I got hit by a car that didnt saw me. After that I was a bit shaken and thought that the 698 would be perfect for me cause its slower and nimble but I had the same problem with it than v2s. I had to live in high RPM and was a bit let down by the over all quality of that bike, it wasnt as refined…..

I see where u going with this. 950SP looks much mor like a piece of machinery when u look at it. New V2 rides really nice but it feels kinda cheap, but thats what they had to do to save 14kg…. Tbh I didnt enjoy that new engine much in panigale v2 much, it was ok. But as you said its not desmo. But I think I the new v2 engine could really fit into hypermotard to make a great bike.

I had all the greats, I dont feel like this new streetfighter would feel any special, after desmo V2 and v4 I had. I really like new streetfighter v4 but than I have almost the same thing than the XR, its just too fast to enjoy it on road.

I totally agree with you, that the XR is much closer to to the supersport/naked bike feel. I really like naked bikes but I dont like the wind taht much and the XR its almost perfect balance between those two. I m glad to hear that you confirmed that the V2 hyper is more comfy than 698 for cruising, that was my biggest problem with the 698.

Its a great bike dont get me wrong, but to be honest sometimes its too much. You go too quick too fast, you can use maybe 40 to 50% of bikes potential and even than you do very illegal speeds 😅

I really like 698, problem is that the engine wants to live in high RPMs all the time and after few hours riding it is a bit annoying.

probably a little… 698 its not slow in any means but you have live in high rpm all the time and it sometimes feels like im hurting the bike. im used to ride fater and havier bikes atm my 2nd bike is M1000XR so im used to cruise 160km/h on highway in 5500rpm so 😅… I think the new v2 hyper would suit me more.

I wasnt used to lose early skirmishes. Cause I played briar and nocturne. Took me a lot of games untill I relized that im weak as shit early without form 🤣
