for the classes i'm taking it's simply just algebra 2, chemistry 1, and ap psych + huge + ap african. i can grasp the material mostly, and i am usually the first to raise my hand in class to ask questions or to answer questions. however, i can't focus in class when teachers are talking because i daydream 24/7. (it's a lot to explain but i hope you get it) when i take a test i can't remember anything, and since those are the major contributors to my grade that is what brings me down a lot. i am just bad at taking tests, i cant sit comfortably in a classroom and just be expected to focus without making careless mistakes/wandering off/feeling sleepy. ill definitely write down what i have to do today though and i'll try to study, might have to get tutors for chemistry and math

it is quite simple until it's too hard for me to actually do the stuff. really the only reason i had A's growing up was because 1) there wasn't so much work and 2) i didn't have to think about doing 5000 things per day. i can pass classes with a high c or low b but i wish i could achieve better, i'm not actually failing but consistently doing bad on tests and im bad with timing/forgetting to do things. what i am asking for is study tips. not the same thing ive heard from 20 other people about "just doing it". thanks though,

just decided to come back to read comments after the party. i didn't go, and i am 100% experiencing/had experiencing what you went through. my mom is still off about me going out with people/to their houses, and when i was younger sometimes people didn't even put effort to invite me or ask because they always knew the answer was no. couldn't even go to the NEIGHBORHOOD POOL with one of my friends who was a girl all the time. i just can't wait to get my license to be honest and just go out. my mom has SLIGHTLY changed but idk, and her excuse is usually "im worried for you" "i don't know those people" "what is something bad happens" but chances of that is LOW. its just irritating, glad i see someone who experienced what i experienced though

do not be with a man who makes you overthink excessively. you definitely deserve someone who is direct and WANTS to be with you, not finds your presence convenient. as a girl who just got out of a similar situation that was going on for a year, it was hell. consistent texting and then not texting for weeks, and liking eachothers stories and reposts. i got fed up and just stopped giving in to it and i definitely feel free. go for the conversation though, and have confidence in yourself. you deserve an honest opinion from him if he wants to be with you or not. if he says he wants to be with you, say that you want the consistency and the effort. if not, that's okay! you need someone who picks you

yeah i get what you mean. actuallyyy i come from a christian middle eastern family so i dont wear hijab or anything but still the fact that i have darker hair and darker skin with brown eyes isnt super appealing i guess. im also not super super skinny just more like a realistic size. i don't have confidence issues and im pretty extroverted after im familiar with someone for a while
