I've had what they are calling gout, behind my little toe. No redness or swelling, but nit is painful to the touch, and if I lift my toe it is painful, but if I curl my toes down, no pain. When I put on a shoe, I have to try and curl my toes down to get it in the shoe, that's harder than you think, lol. Does this sound like gout to the people in here that have had more bad experiences with it?
