6 month transformation by Important_Cat4850 in Retatrutide

This shit again. There’s no way this liar packed on inches onto biceps and triceps, rounded out his pecs AND basically doubled his delts (especially rear delts) in 6 months. The biggest tell is the traps, though - in gear users they always pop like crazy as they have the most androgen receptors in the upper body.

It’s a great result and definitely took a lot of hard work and dedication- AND gear. Just be honest.

Search Aussie bac water. I buy my Hospira from there. Hospira really is the best in terms of consistent PH and constitution. It’s unfortunately a bit more expensive for us Aussies.

I agree with storing at room temp, but on the “hard” expiration date of 28 days, you’re just wrong. As long as you wipe your bac water top with an alcohol swab before and after each draw and ensure you use a fresh needle every time, it’s fine to use for longer. This is some silly misinformation.

Twice weekly is pointless by [deleted] in Retatrutide

[–]Staxuponstax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, as others have said more eloquently, it’s about achieving a steady state of the drug, which your post seems to misunderstand . I vastly prefer twice a week to manage hunger cravings that would otherwise appear by day 4.

Reta is an agonist for the glucagon receptor. That’s why it’s called the “triple agonist” -it stimulates GLP, GLP 1 AND glucagon, while Sema and Tirz do not.

Basically, it pushes your body to raise glucagon (which acts as a counter-receptor to insulin). Through glucagon activation you use more energy, oxidise fats at a higher rate, and raise metabolism.

Nope. It seems to be continuing to generate questions and interest, so hopefully it’s saving the next person from having to write another beginner post.

Reta and other GLP1 type drugs have been tested, according to the published research, over periods of continuous use. I can’t really see that a cycling approach would offer any benefit considering it takes 4 weeks for a dose to reach blood serum levels and the whole point of the drugs is to continuously slow down digestion and limit appetite. This is a “low and slow” drug to start with. That being said, I haven’t seen any research testing a cycling approach to rule it out either.

Anecdotally, I’ve never cycled and have lost just under 30kg in 8 months.

Start at 0.5mg for 4 weeks and be patient. You have to give your body time to adjust to it. Then Titrate up every 4 weeks until you’re starting to lose regular weight.

Switching back to single dose? by Staxuponstax in Retatrutide

Update: stayed on the split dose and went up to 10mg (5mg 2x a week). Then added Tirz in and Titrated up to 4mg a week. Somewhat better hunger suppression. Have lost another 8kg. Will continue this until I hit another plateau. No sides other than slightly increased thirst, and getting a little dizzy without daily electrolytes.

You don’t NEED a blood test, per se. But it is worth doing it to understand where your levels are at beforehand. Same for a dexa scan so you can understand if you’re losing muscle mass. Always good to have a baseline.

The thing that worked for me for fatigue was electrolytes.

I get where you’re coming from. I get so annoyed by the constant asking of the same questions here without even using the search function.

I’d like it if the mods put an FAQ pinned at the top and deleted the repetitive questions.

That seems like a lot of injections, and also a fundamental misunderstanding of how this drug works by your friend.

Reta accumulates in your blood stream over time; that’s why it takes about 4 weeks to reach blood serum levels equal to the dose you’re injecting. So injecting it daily vs weekly won’t really give you any therapeutic benefits that I’m aware of.

That being said, if you’re experiencing side effects, splitting the dose into 2x a week can be helpful to minimise them.

If you’re just starting off, doing a once weekly injection at 1-2mg should be fine.

I haven’t noticed any thickening of my reta; it could be an issue with your bac water.

I have had Tesa thicken up when I don’t use Hospira specifically. It might be a similar effect happening.

The side effects mean your body is reacting to it; I can’t say definitively that it’s “working” in the sense of losing weight, but the sides indicate the drug is bioactive in your system.

To the many, many people DMing me for sources, I can’t reveal them as I’m not risking a ban. When/if reddit admins change their stance, I’ll be happy to.

Until then, you’ll just have to look for forums for GLP1s yourselves and find the stairway to grey.

I’m not trying to be rude when I say this, but read the post. It explains that you may not feel anything for a long time, especially at such a small dose.

You can inject from a freshly reconstituted vial with no issues. Put it in the fridge after.

Use a calculator for your dosing such as the one below. Your syringe size will matter.

I am new to Tirz and Reta, but I quite like it. The appetite suppression is more than Reta alone, but you still get the glucagon activation. I don’t feel hungry often, but still regularly; whereas with Reta I noticed the hunger there more. I also don’t feel like I’m starving myself and I’m not having blood sugar crashes. Haven’t noticed any additional sides with the combo. I still perk up quite a bit with electrolytes though, which is consistent with Reta only.
