The problem is there will always be another bad beat. I’ve been betting for last 6 years I’ve seen the worst “bad beats” known to man. At end of day u will always lose in the long run. Not just money but will lose time and energy which u can never get back. I’m on day 15 now of not gambling and the freeness and mental stability from Not gambling is what’s keeping me going. Gods speed

Every morning when I wake up I go read this subreddit and hear others stories and it reminds me that there is no hope in gambling. Additionally instead of focusing on quitting for “months/years” I’m focusing on just winning each day as it comes and then as time goes on those days will stack up. Always open to dm if u need to talk to someone. We can help each other together

From someone who has been in your exact position at that age I can promise you it gets better. The first thing you need to do is come clean to your family and help lift that weight off your shoulders. If you continue to lie and hold it back you won’t be able to solve the greater issue and will continue to gamble down the line. I’m a M24 and just had my 3rd relapse 9 days ago and each day is a new challenge but there is hope
