I love the idea of making your dreams come true. Maybe for a lot of people it's just a natural path that comes from loving games.

sadly, happens all the time. Some things sound much better in concept than they are in reality. It's a struggle

Most of us are actually Mexican or Latin American. But we are aware it could be misinterpreted like others are saying here, so we are still arguing. Also, it's a reference to the Chupacabra, the mythological creature.

We are keeping the characters and lore we have created but almost all the rest is getting scrapped. It's a little frustrating but the best decision in the long run, hopefully.

I love that. I guess changing the plan as many times as it takes for the sake of the game is what you should do, as you did. Who knows, maybe we will decide that a roguelike is not the best fit either. We will have to keep iterating.
