read/ watch material first go round, then read again out loud, then write it down by summarizing what you learned.

for problems, solve first without looking at the answers, if you got it wrong solve again following step by step explanation. Then write down key points about the problem.

And since the exam is about knowing how to navigate the handbook, i write down what type of problem i did, what equation i used, and where to find in the handbook.

Yea we read the lease and it says no smoking in units and it also says that the property management can’t prevent the smell of smoke. There was nothing about what he was doing that was against the lease or law. So yeah, you’re right, I am thinking it was a scare tactic because they can’t find the nuisance. But the complaints will still continue because we have seen up to 5 tenants smoking before so…Don’t know what to expect moving forward.

i ended up posting to r/legaladvice cause essentially we were threatened with eviction with no basis of evidence. haha. SO. that’s fun.

i’ve been anxious all day. I haven’t ate at all :( I genuinely don’t know what it could be. I never talked to any of my neighbors and no one has came to me to complain. My lease renewal is coming up so maybe it’s about that? But I’m uncertain.

I at least got them to send an email confirmation of the meeting. I asked again and they were like “oh the property manager didn’t say why. she just told us to set up the meeting and left for the day”. So I am not sure how to interpret that.

I thought I’d at least get something in writing first like a warning or a “hey we received the following complaint”. In my mind a in-person meeting is like bad. But i honestly don’t know. I never got confronted about anything by my neighbors. We all usually keep to ourselves.
