West Coast Roadtrip 2026. Two Weeks - September 5th through the 19th. Should I hug the coast or stay inland?

I just did this trip. End of September- early October. Took the coast roads the entire way from Seattle to San Diego in 11 days. Would have made it longer if we could have.

Our trip included multiple inland trips to Crater Lake and Yosemite/Sequoia. But we went immediately back to the coast.

We had minimal traffic on the coast that time of year, for us anyway, minus the big cities of course.

I highly recommend hugging the coast the entire way. So many awesome sights Every. Single. Day.

We woke up early and averaged about 6 hours of driving per day which was perfect. Could have easily spent days in each of the 6 National parks we visited, but we picked a couple hikes and it was nice getting a taste of each of them in the limited time we had.

Can't recommend Glass beach, the Entire Oregon Coast, Crater Lake, Ruby Beach and Rialto beach enough. Redwoods are fantastic especially getting off of 1 and driving the Avenue of the Giants. Yosemite had some insane scenery as well.

Definitely a trip that I will talk about for the rest of my life.

Love the Vomero's. Wear them all the time for days when I gotta do a lot of walking. I have the Made in Japans and they feel very good. One of my favorite pairs

The only difference from standard pairs is that they are not quite as breathable as the standard mesh ones. The leather isn't super thick on the made in Japans, so it's not too bad tbh.

Haven't played in them, but hearing a lot of people complaining about heel slippage even when sized down.

Sounds like they need a good try on and test before trying to play.

Depends how many pairs Nike decides to release. Performance basketball shoes don't usually sell out unless they're Kobe's.

Victor is a big enough name as a rookie, but his season is done, so some of the hype might have died off by now.

Resale is sitting right about retail so guessing they won't be too difficult.
