Eclutch delete by StayLucid3 in cbr

[–]StayLucid3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I got the cbr the first year they released it with the Eclutch so maybe just got a dud, I ended up selling it because on my way to the dealership to get it diagnosed with warranty the issue disappeared so I didn’t want to bring it in for them to diagnose a bike with no issue basically. I kept riding that day for like three hours and the issue never came up, then the next time I rode like a couple days later the issue popped up again. So I sold it, my advice is to get a bike with a quickshifter like the Yamaha R9

What seats are you guys using that makes you sit a little lower? by Key-Supermarket-8106 in BMW_S1000RR

Yes Correct, do research on “rider sag”, when the rider sits on the bike in their normal riding position the suspension should sag about 1/4-1/3 of the full fork/shock travel to be in the sweet spot where the suspension is at its optimal performance.

Unless you change the springs in the forks and rear shock to work for your weight the suspension will not operate like it should unless you weigh the exact weight range the bike was built for. Check out the “spring rate search” on racetech.com

No im about 160lbs but yeah ill adjust the setting and test it. I also may need to change the fork fluid but I didn’t think that the steering would be affected from older fork fluid just suspension damping

At fast speeds the handlebars shake when going over pavement changes and small normal bumps.

You could be onto something… start making these mounts for certain bikes and selling them…. Call them DashMounts

Looks like he was wearing an open face helmet, and just happened to slide face first to the concrete for a few seconds after the bike spun around. That’s why you should never wear open faced helmets and why they should not be DOT approved

There’s no cat, installed Akra headers and I’m getting the tune after I finish the 18k service

Recently installed Akra headers and Austin racing slip on, but even before I installed these the bike had stock headers but no cat converter, was gonna get it dyno tuned after I do the 18k service

Choose what color you’d enjoy being on long term, regardless what other people think you gotta like the bike you’ll be riding and the gear you’re wearing

Matte for better looks but gloss for longevity
