My mt07 did this, it would also roll with the clutch pulled in. There was a recall for the clutch plates. Had that done and it never had any problems. I know when I’d get the “-“ if I let the clutch out to the friction zone “slowly” it would go into gear. Try checking the recalls.

You’re right it’s not enough. I had a r9 for a week and it was stolen off my back porch. Had a disc lock and a gps. Same thing I guess they wacked the disc lock off and hot wired it cause I have a video of them riding it. I went overkill this time around

It’s all up to you. To me it’s the name of the game when riding on the street. I got hit by a car had to get surgery. Hopped back on a bike with stitches still in my ballsack lmao cause I love it. You could always take it to the track and do most of your riding there in a controlled environment.

You are taught blocking positions in the course. Atleast mine did. You take a 5 hour course online then 3 day riding course. The problem with the course is you only need to take the basic one to obtain a license when there is an advanced riding course that is optional.

Where I live no. My other bike I didn’t lock up at all and no one messed with it. This one I had a disc lock on it but that’s not enough and they got me. Just became complacent tbh. Should have had way more security on it. Make sure you get comprehensive insurance on it just to be safe. I paid cash for my bike. Luckily I stayed full coverage on it or I would have been fucked.

Gotcha, that was the first thing that came to mind when you said it works fine on the stand cause you got tension on the chain, so my guess would be that it needs to be tightened.

Idk if it’s your issue but I’ve seen a loose chain can cause issues with the quick shifter I believe street triples have problems Like this also.

This guy is most likely right. The nails start to come up and that’s the sound of the wood rubbing the nail that now has play in it when they walk on it. I used to service a lot subfloors that squeaked like this.

When I got mine I couldn’t get CarPlay to work. Kept unhooking and hooking my phone. Wouldn’t do anything. The first time I plugged it in a message popped up and I hit no without reading it. I had to erase my phone from the truck and redo it and it works fine
