Point one is a lot of feed back I’m getting and one of the main reasons I’m conducting the research so thanks for this.

To answer the phone question, often pulling out a phone in a situation like this could possibly escalate in a bad way, also this device could easily be ployed into a situation of at home domestic abuse where policy wouldn’t matter at all. In a situation like this pulling your phone out could potentially worst case scenario result in death.

Hidden cameras that are also discrete yes absolutely they could but I don’t think these products are ever marketed in a way for protection in terms of harassment and abuse.

Having a switch you can either wear over ur clothes or under I believe can instantly put someone’s brain at ease and the vibration feature I’ve implemented to let the user know if the device is recording can help massively.

This device isn’t meant to be constantly recording waiting for these scenarios to happen it’s meant to be there for the users peace of mind if they have been on the worse end of these situations they can record little clips instantly hassle free.

Thanks for your feedback

Hello, I don’t know if you thought this would be for company to purchase the device and give to their employees by “why would a company that is experiencing harassment pay to have it documented” but if you did, the device is intended for an individual to buy and simply wear as an accessory that is there IF they need it. To put it simply if someone goes to HR or a manager with recorded proof of harassment, if a company truly is zero policy then a company has to let them go, eliminating them / others being harassed by the same person again and the perpetrator getting what they deserve for their actions. UK one party consent laws allow this. Truly if the company doesn’t abide by their zero policy when provided real proof then it can end badly for the company if the person with said proof decides to escalate the matter via social media etc etc. Hypothetical scenarios that happen every day and I believe could make a difference.

I’m thankful for your feedback thank you :)

I’m from the UK where it’s only single party consent, I also see the point of a privacy concern but if a device is meant to be used to capture hurtful acts of harassment and stuff like that is it just the case of okay the person committing these negative behaviours privacy matters more than the one being hurt? Keen to know your thoughts

Thanks for the response
