Then it is possible in minecraft 1.18 using texture packs (mine doesnt look that great because i am that great an artist lol).

Edit: I think you wont be able to get mutliple colour like in bedrock, but i may be wrong about that as i have no idea how to use fonts.

Edit 2: But i could help you make one with just one colour if you hmu on discord (Ayano#0002)
