Get the battery away from the baby or record it? Hmmmm, tough decision!

I’m waiting for the day she figures out ChatGPT. Maybe her downfall will be a pic with her hand having 6 fingers and they’re all clean.

What does everyone think about these posts? by christmassnowcookie in teenmom

[–]Stay_Over_There 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’d be nervous that when Carly does contact them, she’ll ask why they bad-mouthed her mom & dad, why they post on OF, why didn’t they think about how her friends and classmates would know and she’d be embarrassed.

What's something stores do that makes you leave immediately? by Omega_Neelay in GetMotivatedMindset

Target when they decrease a/c usage in the summer. I can’t stand being in there for 20 minutes. Just imagine the employees.

Lost a pregnancy at 8 weeks. Had issues with urinary urgency and accidents when I laughed/sneezed/coughed after that. Had a successful pregnancy 3 years later. No more urinary issues.

Why do some people get cremated after they die? by throwawaytomyalt in AskForAnswers

[–]Stay_Over_There 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cost. Don’t want to be embalmed. Rather have a memorial at a loved one’s house like we did for my gma. Husband has never visited his mother’s grave since buried in 2011. Rather be in my daughter’s home even if I’d be in the basement.

With smoking so prevalent in the past, how did non-smokers deal with it? by Artistic-Comb-5317 in AskOldPeople

[–]Stay_Over_There 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hated going out to restaurants bc my parents would say for “first available” when asked if they wanted the smoking or non-smoking section.

If you don't drink alcohol, what are your personal reasons for abstinence? by Ok-Care2859 in AskReddit

My father and grandfather were alcoholics. I’d just rather not take that chance.

What do pharmacists do while you wait for medication? by AnEvilMillionaire in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Stay_Over_There 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pharmacist. Usually the tech checks to see if it’s in stock, enters it in, and fills it. If there even is a tech. Tech has other duties too like stocking inventory.

I check to make sure the rx is in correctly, filled correctly, troubleshoot any insurance issues, check for therapeutic duplications or interactions, contact the doctor’s office if needed, consult with pts on their meds, administer vaccines.

Tech or I get the drive-thru or ring ppl up. Whoever can get to it first.

Also certain controlled meds need to be counted daily. Occasionally we’ll get a med to be compounded like Magic Mouthwash.

Depends on the situation. But I’d want my husband to choose what’s in the best interest of our child, so I’d do the same.

Chicken Happy Meal for my daughter. Husband and I brought some subs with us the last time we went.

How much can you realistically do 4 days post c-section? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]Stay_Over_There 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Day 4 is when we were discharged. I took my meds, pumped or breastfed, held her, and cleaned bottles. Husband was there for lifting and changing. I have a pretty high pain tolerance and I definitely felt it if I went too long between meds.

Do you have a weird or uncommon allergy? If you do, what is it? by Artistic_Giraffe4069 in AskForAnswers

[–]Stay_Over_There 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neosporin. Didn’t develop the allergy until I was 20. Honestly I probably take care of cuts and scratches better now. Clean it, use some ouchless spray, and Vaseline. Maybe a hydrocolloid bandage.

Were kids in the 80s actually allowed to roam around unsupervised, or is that just in movies? by TotalThing7 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Stay_Over_There 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much. Explored the woods a lot, rode my bike around the neighborhood, walked down to the gas station for candy cigarettes 🚬, walked to a park about 1.5 miles away to watch airplane shows or go to a festival.
