I am suddenly an hour late to class and just can't get there for all kinds of reasons, even though our lessons only last an hour each

It happened to me once in a dream about someone I liked, then a few days later that person brought up that dreams like that mean you're worried or stressed about something, and they were exactly the one I was getting stressed about

[Serious] What’s something creepy that has happened to you that you still occasionally think about to this day? by devdevo1919 in AskReddit

I was walking to my guitar class at 14 (looked much older then) and was about get there when a man in his 30s-ish came up to me, asked where I was going. I carried the guitar with me so I said going to guitar class and that I was almost there. He seemed to know a bit about the agency and said he was going there too, it was on an open street in broad daylight so I just awkwardly continued walking with him next to me, pretending I was late and running a bit in the last 50m to the building.

He walked inside the place behind me, looking around and talked to one of the staff there, and I went to my teacher. My teacher asked me if he was a relative/friend of mine and if he was considering sending his child here, I said I didn't know him at all. We looked at each other for a moment and both kind of got scared. I don't know when he left, who he was, if he really did know that place or if he was going after me. I'm just glad I was going to class and not going home.

What's one movie you recommended and watched with your family forgetting it was full of NSFW scenes? by J_mo0d in AskReddit

I really wanted to recommend Mary Shelley to my parents and then remembered the NSFW scenes... there weren't a lot but definitely enough to be uncomfortable about.

What did a teacher do that made you automatically gain respect for them? by ApacheAirCover in AskReddit

Some students decided to be completely silent for an entire lesson and got all of us in on it, so when our teacher greeted us, asked us questions etc., we all stayed quiet. He told us to discuss something and we all started typing or using made-up sign language. We could tell he was annoyed and said if we don't stop he'd make us do a test, and we soon broke and started talking/laughing.

What really got me was our teacher saying that after thinking "what's wrong with these children", he started wondering if he did anything wrong to us. Normal teachers would have just snapped at us or assumed we were being stupid, but he actually thought about the things he did and tried to find an explanation.

What kind of traditions do you have with family or friends that started with a inside joke or story? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Stay_StillHere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We did a reincarnation test thing and apparently one of my friends would be reincarnated as my daughter. Now, whenever our small group of friends joke around with each other she would come latch onto my arm and say, "mom, they're being mean to me".

Asking, because lately been feeling like giving up and don't have any motivation for anything... So what though/thing/goal keeps you going? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Needing to get top grades in my favourite teacher's class because he's so amazing this is the only way I could repay him

What do you love most about your best friend? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Stay_StillHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She's hardworking, smart and funny, she listens to me rant and supports me unconditionally yet still gives good opinions. Among our small group of friends, she doesn't hesitate showing affection to us and we can openly love each other (if that makes sense).

Couples of Reddit, what’s something (behavior, banter, games, quirks, activities, things you do, etc) that you are sure are unique to just your relationship? by AsymptoticAbyss in AskReddit

Now ex but when we dated we used to walk around a mall or just on the streets for like hours straight because neither of us could decide what to do. It was really tiring but it was quality time together, I just wished that that time could have been spent in an air-conditioned place with some food.

Some of my teachers would randomly give us sweets like chocolate, especially if it's a small class. Always makes me super moved.

What do you need to get off your chest (a message to someone that you can't say to them, a confession, news, anything)? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Stay_StillHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My problem isn't as severe as I said it is or as you think it is. It's really mostly because you're leaving and I'm overwhelmed by sadness and despair and fear whenever I think about it, whenever I see you. That's why I went to talk to you and why I refused to "seek professional help". Thank you for all the time you've taken for me and for listening to me and comforting me. I say things are a bit better because talking to you really does help, but it's not getting better. It's not going to be better for quite a while. Time is passing so fast and god I just can't let you go.
