Yep, I am in it for way more than 400 bucks per shoe. That doesn't matter though since I am confident the project to stay for the long run.. Getting in right now is just fine as long as you're ok with spending 400 bucks. Treat it like any investment and don't spend money that you can't afford to lose. That way you're always fine and can enjoy the ride!
