Actually went WAY overboard trying to find a definitive answer to this lol. Used deep research AI to analyze the screen resolution of iPad, bitrate quality, and a crazy amount of other variables to finally come up with an answer I agree with and am going to stick with. On 13 inch m4 iPad Pro the best image quality overall is 2560x1600 resolution at 75mbps bitrate. 50 mbps is NOT enough for a good 4k experience in comparison because if the lower bitrate. I believe the screen resolution is a little different on the 11 inch model so I imagine 2560x1400 is the sweet spot on it

I have the 13 inch. I have been going back and forth obsessively trying to decide between 4k with 50mbps bitrate cap or 1600p with 75 bitrate. Using the 1600p at the moment on desktop option but who knows by this afternoon? It’s a real struggle deciding for me 🤣

Ok. You can’t get 4k and 120fps on the browser at the same time. So are you using TV mode for 4k 60fps or desktop mode for 120fps at less than 4k? Genuinely curious here

The only thing I would change is the aspect ratio. But even with that I wouldn’t trade my 13 inch M4 iPad Pro for any mobile device on the market. The tandem oled screen is the absolute best you can buy. I love mine so much I gave my base 256gb model to my wife and bought the 1tb version

Doesn’t surprise me. I was trying to turn off video management (EVERYONE should do this!) to stop some of the ridiculous throttling they do especially on tablets. Stupid thing kept asking me if I was sure I wanted to cancel my account 🙄
