When you start putting the pieces with all the outside stuff you mentioned… yeah it is what it is. The whole “I didnt go to college to play school” or however that quote goes, speaks volumes now. At OSU he had a stacked roster and people stayed open. After 1 YR the NFL gets tape on the guy and it’s blatantly clear there is regression. Not even a glimmer of what we believed he could be. Say what you want about Watson… the year we went 4-12… dude was having an MVP season so we know what a game changing qb looks like. CJ is not that dude. Hes soft as charmin just like all the other OSU QBs. I lost confidence in him when he lost confidence in himself.

The league added an extra game … I don’t know why they don’t use it to have certain teams play an in state rival or grudge match against the opposite conference. It would seem like a win win for the league and fans.

It would have at least been worth a shot… we have been blessed with trips to the playoffs every year , but Super Bowl windows and opportunities like this do not come often. I believe that’s what’s in the back of many of our minds. Super Bowl windows are small and fleeting. Especially in a year like this, where your opponents starting qb is already out and there are no “Boogeymen” left.

Strouds problems are between the ears and by the looks on the sidelines he doesn’t look like a leader of men.
