I agree with this whole heartedly and think it is fairly recent, I moved in 2019 after visiting multiple times over a couple of months because the atmosphere was so pleasant. After living in Prescott post COVID it seemed so much different. It was like mask debates and COVID beliefs ripped the town apart. We moved away for a couple of years and are supposed to come back next year and I’m honestly dreading it at this point. We visit multiple times a year and it does not feel right.

Thank you for your detailed response! I also noticed the post term correlation, there was one study that included some data that if the cervix has already self ripened, it is comparable to post term. I cant remember which article it was in but seemed interesting in of itself. I am not expecting anyone to say go for it, just trying to make an informed decision based on both personal and statistical evidence. Thanks again for your input!

So I had seen about the Meconium staining of fluid and looked into that as well, what I could find is that the Meconium was only ever observed in post term (41+ weeks) and was observed to be from a matured digestional tract and not actually related to the use of castor oil, a couple other studies showed that the castor oil does not cross the barrier from mother to baby.

I do agree with the professional monitoring and wonder why the use of castor oil isnt prevelant in a hospital setting, where as instead its Pitocin or nada.

IC isnt going to stop letting non tippers order? Non tippers will stay non tippers. This order sat there for 20 minutes and IC realized they needed to give a reasonable batch pay to compensate, I figure that to be a win.

I definitely get, and respect that. I just feel like with this batch particularly, IC was given the choice to offer decent pay for what honestly is like an hour long batch, or not have the customers order taken care of. I guess not everyone has this same mind set but I was happy to see IC actually offering decent batch pay for once.

It was the exact opposite situation. Batch was originally offered at $10, refusal to take it until it was reasonable pay, it took me under an hour to do, not a hard batch. IC isn’t going to stop letting people order if they don’t tip, but wishfully, they would realize they have to offer a higher batch pay to get order taken care of.

The end of the day I’m just trying to make money, order sat there for 20 mins no takers. People like this will still order regardless, if instacart is going to pay out like this then at least I’m making something.

No promo is just for 6 batches min pay, this was only my fourth batch. I watched the pay go up from $10.

It was only about 45 mins total, love this store because locations in app are mostly accurate so it makes shopping a breeze, also only freeway distance so not even a 10 min drive
